 Stevie was inducted into the Maine Ole Opry here in the great state of Maine, October 7, 2007. It was an honor for Stevie to follow in the footsteps of Maine legends Dick Curless, Slim Clark and living legend Rusty Rogers. These men have paved the way and have kept good ole country music alive!  Stevie was recognized for his talent & accomplishments, for his travels to Europe, Australia and around the U.S., for his songwriting and sharing his music. Part of the criteria is also dedication to country music and the opry, reputation and knowledge of country music, the response from the audience and how they relate to their fans and other Opry Members. A committee of piers felt that Stevie fit all attributes. Thank you!
